All week long they've been showing highlights of the awards show. What is the purpose of actually watching now? They've already told us who won every award and given us excerpts from their acceptance speeches. There is no element of surprise left to the show.
In general I hate award shows anyway. Since I know almost everything that's going to happen, there is no reason for me to watch the show.
