Ok first A-Rod hits his 499 career home run today. He will be the youngest player to get to 500 once he gets that one. He'll be 32 on Friday. When Bonds was 32 he had 317 home runs. That's a heck of a lot more. Everybody is screaming about Bonds becoming the hr king. Please A-Rod will pass him within 5 years so does it really matter.
Then Ryan Howard hits a walk-off hr in the bottom of the 14th. The 14th, that's insane. They've been playing all night. Phillies games never come on tv.
Tom Glavine is at career win 299. The Mets played the Pirates so that was on tv. I really don't like the Mets so I didn't watch that game. I do like Carlos Beltran and Jose Reyes though.
