Boycott the Pittsburgh Pirates?
Wow. I just heard on a local sports talk show that there is an online petition to formally boycott the Pittsburgh Pirates. The date that the projected boycott is to take place is June 30th. It's a home game against the Washington Nationals. I know the Pirates are bad, but geeze. The fans are ready to revolt.

damn right! 15 seasons under .500 does not deserve my time. i live in new york city now, i have recently revoked my MLB extra innings pkg.i sold the tickets that i got in june for the yankees-pirates series. i am fed up! the trouble though is i cant root for any other team because i am a pirates fan. Mcclatchy sucks!
My problem with the boycott is that everyone is planning on leaving in the 3rd inning. Just have a day where you don't go, not walk out in the middle of the game.
That's childish. I think it's management in general not just McClatchey.
