I labeled this post friends, but that word should be in quotations. I just got a request on a networking site from a old friend. I accepted the request even though I have no idea who this person is. Then they private messaged me and asked how I was doing. They even referenced something personal so I know they know who I am.
The problem is that I have no idea who this person is. The name doesn't even remotely ring a bell. I know her last name could be different (marriage and such) but the first name doesn't sound familiar. She doesn't have a common first name either so I should know who she is. But nope, no clue.
Hopefully I'll figure it out soon.

Surfing my day away
I haven't really been busy at work all day. I do have work to do but I have to wait for other people to get done with their parts first since they're group projects. All I've been doing is surfing the internet.
I've found some great stuff too. I wasn't really looking for anything but I did find a great pair of earrings at holsted. It's a website that sells a lot of cutting edge jewelry that's not sold in stores. That's pretty important because it means that every piece and every look is unique. It also means that I won't walk around looking like everybody else.
Now I just have to decide which piece to buy.

30 days before I have to get my car repaired
I'm not looking forward to this at all. As usual I've waited until the last minute and now it's something that has to be done. I hate paying for car repairs but I have to. I'll call around and look for a good auto body shop to take care of my car. I already see that I can get a online estimate. I'm sure that number will be off the charts. If they take appointments over the internet, all the better.
I want this process to be as painless as possible.

Playing these stupid online games
I've gotten hooked on online games again. It happens every time one of my classes ends. I start playing the games to relax my mind and I get hooked. I don't even know the name of the game. It's a word puzzle where you put together as many words as you can in a short amount of time.
It's so much fun but I'm spending way too much time playing it.

Internet dust-ups
Have you ever gotten into the middle of a problem unintentionally? I have. It wasn't really bad but I still felt weird afterwards. Especially since Side B did a smear campaign against Side A. When everything went down Side B was wrong wrong wrong. But I found out that they are in the habit of trying to cover their own butts and making the other guy look bad.
If Side B would do what they were supposed to do, they wouldn't have to worry about their competition.

Connect with business cards and Facebook
Facebook is doing it's best to become the next myspace. Thousands of people have already signed up for their service and are posting to their hearts content. But what about offline? How do you go about connecting with people in real life. How about with 100 FREE ooprint biz cards? Would that help? You bet it would. Shipping is not included in the offer but the cards are free.
Personalize them with your name and email address. Then hand them out to friends, coworkers, or even that cutie on the bus.

Do you video blog?
I don't. To tell the truth, I don't even know how to use a video camera. Camera shy doesn't even begin to accurately describe me. More like camera loathing. I hate being photographed and especially video-taped. I never liked cameras from a early age. I don't know why. I always try to fade into the background.
Even here at work I do the same. If you get an award or a promotion, they take your picture and put it on an employee website. I let them take my picture for a group photo once. When I got my psuedo-promotion, I didn't take a picture for that.
And You-Tube, ha you will never catch me on there. Not at all. The thought of that gives me the heeby-jeebies.

Would you send an anonymous email?
Have you ever wanted to say something but just didn't know how? Or are you scared about emailing someone something that you know will upset them? To combat that you can send an Anonymous Email. What could you possibly want to say anonymously? Well, you can report a crime. Think about it, most people don't report crimes to law enforcement officials because they're afraid of facing repercussions from the criminals. Enter the anonymous email. Nobody will know but you.
There are other great reasons for remaining anonymous like: reporting child abuse, reporting theft at work, or even sending a tip to the media. Sometimes there are things that need to be said and with the anonymous email, you can feel confident in saying them.

A new source of blog income
I'm always looking for ways to increase my online income. I think I found something new. It's called AdVolcano. What's so great about it? Well for one thing, publishers can price their own ads. And you have control over your design. So you don't have to worry about something that will be out of place on your site.
Another positive is that your ads are set for a fixed term. So no worrying about links expiring or being renewed. You already know how long your internet advertising is good for. There is also a benefit for advertisers. You know in advance how much and for how long your ads will run. This makes your advertising budget a breeze to figure out.
I can't wait to sign up for this and make some more money. More money is always good.

A unique way to win awesome prizes
Who doesn't like to win great prizes? Admit it, you do. Everyone does. Especially win it's an awesome prize. Bid4prizes.com has a unique concept. The lowest bid wins. Now don't go getting all excited thinking your going to bid $.02 and win. You have to have the lowest unique bid. Best of all you can enter through text messaging or on the website. How cool is that. If you're on the go, you can still enter a bid and try to win.
Right now the prizes include a BMW, an Apple Iphone, or a 50" HD Plasma Tv. Personally I would love to win the car. I don't have a car right now and to win a BMW would be unbelievable. Can you imagine winning a car? Now I just have to think of a great bid to enter.

Absolutely hysterical blog
I found the funniest blog I've ever seen. I am not a hamster literally had me laughing out loud. Ed has a unique style of writing, with a quick wit and sarcasm galore. My kinda site!
If you are not a hamster, check it out. If you are a hamster, he might be smearing the good names of hamsters everywhere. Don't take my word for it, you better get over there and see for yourself.

Why I think Agloco is a crock
For those of you who may not know, Agloco is the second incarnation of All-Advantage.com. All-Advantage folded several years ago mainly, they say, due to the dot.com bust.
The premise is simple, add a viewbar to the bottom of your screen, surf the internet as you normally would and get paid. Sounds easy peasy right? Well, first off, you only get paid for the five hours. That's not even a problem. Of course you want a limit on the number of hours someone gets paid. Nerds like me spend no less than 20 hours a month on the internet. Do you really want to pay someone for all of that time? Nope.
The viewbar is a main concern. Every month it gets delayed. Now it's slated for release in early to mid April. C'mon, how hard is it to develope a viewbar? People over a Wordpress develop plug-ins in a matter of days.
I don't think the viewbar is that problem at all. I think it's the advertisers. I don't think they have enough lined up or they're not getting as much money from the sponsors as they had hoped. Agloco updates their blog but whenever you ask them an advertiser question, they totally ignore it.
Don't bother trying to make money with this company. All I think you'll end up with in the end is a bunch of spam.

Two Blogs With The Same Name
I don't know what to do about this. I have a blogger blog and my own domain. They both have the same name, Sabrina's Money Madness. I use the blogger blog for ppp. I can use my own domain for that once it's 90 days old. Here's the problem, my blogger account has a pr of 1, my own domain has no pr yet. By the time my own domain is ppp ready, it may have a pr but the blogger one will still be higher.
It's important to have a high pr for ppp segmentation. I've missed some great opps because they wanted a pr or 2 or 3. It's also important for monetizing my blog. I can get more sponsors with a higher pr blog.
I'm probably more confused than ever right now.
Edit: I've changed the Sabrina's Money Madness blog on blogger to Sabrina's Place.

Period Of Adjustment
I'm going through a period of adjustment with my new blog. My profile is for my other blog Sabrina's Place. If I delete the profile, it disappears on both blogs.
I also have some adsense on this blog. I don't like the way it looks. It's too wide on the sidebar, and you don't have the option of making a skyscraper. I also have a search box on my old blog but it's not available on this blog.
I do like the colors though and that's a good thing. Once less thing to work on.
