Just when you thought a oral medication was better than a shot

All medications have side effects. Unfortunately some are more serious than others. There is a diabetes medication called Actos that came out with a great idea. Take it orally instead of by shot. I have several friends with diabetes and one has to take the shot every day. She would have been thrilled to be able to use a oral medications.

Instead there is now the possibility of there being a Actos lawsuit. Actos is for type 2 diabetes and only has to be taken once per day. Unfortunately, in recent studies, it has been show to lead to serious injuries including head attacks and heart failure. There is even an increased risk of bladder cancer. All of these can lead to an Actos lawsuit.

If you have taken Pioglitazone, the chemical name for Actos was sold under the trade names Actos, ActoplusMet, Competact and Duetact you may need to see your doctor for more tests to make sure your aren't experiencing any adverse side effects.

As always please read the small print and ask plenty of questions before taking any medication. Your health could depend on it.
